The 8908 AZ wind speed meter can measure the Wind Speed, Temp. and Windchill. The 8908 AZ Anemometer is the best choice as the wind speed monitoring device in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), industrial related application, Agriculture and Outdoor Activities.
The Windchill temperature is referred to as the “feels like” temperature. It is based on the rate of heat loss from exposed skin caused by the effects of wind and cold. As the wind increases, the body is cooled at a faster rate causing the skin temperature to drop. Wind Chill does not impact inanimate objects like car radiators and exposed water pipes, because these objects cannot cool below the actual air temperature.
